Bar Scanner+ is an enhanced version of the popular, free Bar Scanner appliion, which is a product of the ZXing open-source bar scanning library from Google. Bar Scanner+ is based on the same , and has been developed by one of the two primary authors of the original Bar Scanner, Sn Owen.

Bar Scanner+ includes all of Bar Scanner's functionality, and is intended as a drop-in replacement for Bar Scanner. It adds several enhancements:
